Ok so you've probably noticed the * in the code. If you want to modify your ID change the * to:
Platinum: C
Diamond and Pearl: 0
If you want to modify your Secret ID change the * to:
Platinum: E
Diamond and Pearl: 2
The lines is where you want to put the number you want your ID or secret Id to be. Wait you just can't put in the numbers you want in the spaces that would be too simple. In windows calculator change to scientific mode then put in the id number you want (five digits only). After you type them in change the calculator from DEC to HEX. Your ID number should change to some other four digit sequence of numbers and letters. This is the thing you replace the -'s with. If it is less than four digits then put a zero then the numbers and letters, it needs to be four digits long for it to work.
I think the highest number you can go to is 65535.

Where is HEX
If you are using PC switch your calculator to Programmer setting, that is where HEX is, that's how I found it.
I can't get these codes to work for the life of me. Is there somewhere in particular you have to press L+R to activate the codes? I've pressed L+R in lots of places now and it just... won't work.

What hex is 00000
dex and hex is for a programer type calculator and iff u want something like 00000 for your codes then put them in as 0000

What the heck do you mean by DEC to HEX?! Why not just post Letters that are the specific numbers?!
I can’t get the codes to work! And I know the HEX code is correct; so are you sure you press L+R?
